if you look on the rims them self there will either be a R or a L to tell you which way they go.. i think they are backwards now cannot remmeber but i personally think they look better that way..

does it matter which way they're on, besides how they look? like will my car spin out and flip off the road if I don't put the wheels on correctly, or is it just a cosmetics thing?
thanks
thanks
Nope, it doesn't matter. Tires have tread going both ways if you look at them closely. They are like a mirror image.
Like when you get tires rotated on a car that does not have directional wheels like the RX-7, they switch sides.

They wont make u flip over but they are directional to vent the brakes so you dont get as much fade. I don't believe that they have n e structural purpose and u will be alright if they are on wrong but ur brakes may heat up a bit quicker. If you live in a mountainous area then I would make the effort to put them on right but if you are in the midwest or in FL then Iwouldnt worry too much.
Yes, they are on backwards in your picture, BUT I think they look a lot better that way.
I doubt seriously that your brakes would be affected by the direction the wheels face. The main factor in overheating brakes, as far as the wheels are concerned, would be a lack of airflow through the spaces between the spokes, but there is more than enough airflow through them in either direction, unless you are road racing, in which case you wouldn't be using those wheels anyway.

Brake Cooling
Sorry to disagree with anyone, but brake cooling WILL be reduced greatly, at speed, if the wheels are not reversed. They are on backwards. Look at the wheels and imagine they are fan blades. Then imagine how those blades would work. I think you'll get the picture.
