Is my waterpump dying?

Is my waterpump dying?
I just spent a good 30-60 mins searching for this. I really dint find the answers I needed.
1st of all I dont have an air pump on my car. While driving in high rpms, I hear this "chirping/squeek" sound coming from around the alternator and water pump area. Is this sound coming from my water pump?
2nd. Will a bad water pump put air bubbles into my coolant?
3rd. When my car is stopped, sometimes the temp gauge starts rising. I changed the fan clutch with another used one and still does the same. Is this because of the water pump failing or something else? I also changed the radiator cap.
Should I get an electric fan (pusher and puller)? Sorry for all the questions.

Hello! I have a '91 NA that blows quite a few bubbles intot he coolant tank. I am pretty sure that it does this becasue my coolant seals are blown or my rotor housings are warped =( What I would recommend doing is while its blowing bubbles into the overflow bottle, pull the cap off and smell whats coming out of the tube that coolant is supposed to dump out of. If it smells like gasoline, you might be in the same boat as me =( I actually hear that there are some smog places out there that have hydrocarbon deteror "wands" that will detect any hydrocarbons.... that might be worth a shot since there probably shouldnt be any gasoline in your coolant!
My car sometimes does the same thing where at low rpm's the temperature starts to creep up, but not very frequently, and when I rev it up to about 3-4K, the temperature went back down. I really have no idea about that chirping sound. Maybe the water pump belt is bad? Just letting you know what my symptoms are and I am almost it is becasue my engine is really on its last legs.

While driving I could hear the sound coming from the engine bay. If I pull over, check under the hood and rev the engine, I can barely hear the sound coming from that area. I cant pinpoint the exact location.

Sounds to me like somthing that is hapening under load, if you cannot hear it at idle .. and you can barley hear it while revving it up ... but you hear it from inside the car while driving. hmm ... I would say the noise is somthing else... not to say you don't have a cooling issue, but I think they may not be related.

I just read something that said if you remove your air pump you need to install a double pully so you can have 2 belts on your water pump or the belt will slip. I think it was at mazdatrix in the cooling section but i'm not sure

same chirp noise
i have everything stock on my ride and i cant figure that chirping noise out either. if i kick down on it at idle it chirps a bit till about 2000 rpm, but not a solid length of time..little hesitation between each....under a load it gets even worse....thinking maybe my timing
