my tps upgrade fabrication

So after my s4 tps took a dump, I decided to go with a full range tps that won't cost so much to replace.
I got a haltech clockwise tps that comes with the plug and pins to assemble it yourself. It was about $100. The general motors tps looks very similar at half the cost without the connector and pins. I just wasn't sure if it spun clockwise or not, I'm surrounded by imports.

I know a lot of people did not have problems just jamming these style tps on the fc shaft. The fc throttle shaft has a little machined off 2 ends 180 degrees from each other. Most other tps will have only one side of the round shaft machined, but machined quiet a bit more. So the center of the pivot on the tps wad not correct. IDK If it ever caused premature failure or not, but I didn't like the idea.

Another thing I noticed was that the shaft on the upper tps was very very long, people were jamming the tps on the tip of the throttle shaft. So the sensor was about 1-2" away from the sensor.

another thing is that since people just jammed it on, the sensor looks crooked.

I did some measurements and decided to cut the shaft down so the tps would be closer to the throttle body and use the same style fitment , and straight add if the car came with it

This cast pay I milled down and drilled taped 5mm x .8. Anyone sell reseal kiss for our tps? I didn't want crud getting into the seal, hence the tape job

Shaft cut shorter, no need for 2 inches popping out. Turned down to 8mm, then milled flat on one side. Now it has the correct pivot. Oh yeah, mocked up so the sensor plug will be facing the incoming air, vs down or up

This is how close it will be to the throttle. 2 mounting holes for the bracket. I used stainless so I can keep it thin, strong enough (not that it needs to be very strong) and corrosion resistant. I might paint it, it would look prettier if I redid it, but it works.

I started out with a square piece for measurements and point of reference for measurements. After everything bolted up I I trimmed it to look a little better and to clearance at WOT. I slotted the holes for tps mounting in case I needed a little adjustment for whatever reason, I'm not a tuner. <br/>

I wish I could make it all over again to make it prettier, but I have way more stuff to do, and this one works. Thanks for the help i got on my last tps thread. It inspiring me to do this over buying used sensors from decades ago, or spending tons of money for a new oem sensor.
