Ok do I'm on my way to Miami from Orlando and about 30 miles down the freeway i speed up to pass someone and right as i hit 4krpms in 5th the car jurks so i clutch and let off the gas and go WOW.. then i get back on the gas about 3500rpms and say ok let me slow down just in case i ben doing 80mpr at about 3700rpms for a while. and right when it gets the 3krpms it dose it again so i stay at 3500rpms, and pull over at the next station, fearing it's knocking i put 1/4 tank of 93oc and the problem stops tell i get back to 3/4 again. so i put 93oc in the tank and did this about 5 stops.

i think it's ether nocking from under oc. the guy that gave me that car only drove it to and from him house and garage and under 40mph. he put a full tank of 89 with 1oz per gal. of 2 stroke oil before i picked it up. OR it flooded really bad before i left and was thinking it could just be the plugs but why would it stop for a bit after adding a 1/4 tank of 93 to the mix?

o ya the car is not stock.

umm i have a knocking sound too and it only happens when the car is warm.... some say that its just loose exhaust parts or something like that but for you with the whole 3000rpm thing sound like you blew your piston motor :P

well it cooled alnight adn now where it would start and idle at 800 with out moving i now have to turn the key adn give it gas and keep ont he gas or it dies tell it been ruing for a min or 2

hope it's just has to use all the 2 stoke oiuld up then it will stop but it dose smell like a jet ski then it's running

 

Sounds like it may not be getting fuel. How long since you changed the fuel filter?
The injectors might be crapped up too, that could explain the flooding.

Get a piston tester or get a compression check somehow to eliminate suspicion of bad motor, if your motor was knocking than it would lose compression quickly.

 

Ya i have a tester but don't have a socket that will fit my spark plugs

 

you can rent one at any autoparts store, highly recomended.
