my sway bar disconnected its self
i've knowed of a blown shock on my driver's front for about a month. then it started handleing really loose up there and i blamed it on the shock then i was putting a differant set of wheels on my car today and i saw my front racingbeat swaybar was totoally disconnected from the endlink, thats lame lol. i bought new shocks today
this is me taking a hard right hander at the autox with a blown shock and a disconnected sway bar its kinda funny how much its rolling lol

Yep, that happened to me once. I'd just installed the bar the week before and hadn't checked the links again after. My links loosened a bit too after I installed my spherical bearing ones. Moral of the story, drive it for a couple days then re-torque everything.

loctite tends to be a bitch and a half to remove after a while so i dont really like it, its not bad, just find an exit strategy too, i like the re-torque idea best, it gives it some break in time before it sets

just a week ago, it happened to my friends' car. it turned out that his mazda sway bar link was not installed properly and loose. so i suggests that have it checked and see if what's wrong. and be sure that it is properly tight and installed. good luck

i still have stock end links and the nut just fell off nothing on the swaybar broke, i've got to get a new nut and i'm going to loctite the others too
when i installed it last year i used a torque wrench and test drove it and rechecked everything. i'm going to go over everything again with a torque wrench and loctite

You CAN'T torque the S5 endlinks, because you need to have an allen key in there. I had tightened them up pretty well, but after the one came off that one time I re-torqued it all and never had another problem. I use all metal locknuts on my new links.
