yep, sure does. It obviously dome type of R-compound tire, but Bridgestone doesn't sell one in the US. I can't read japanese, so I can't find out on their site.
I love the cupholder, btw. Also, make sure the battery's held down well.

Wow... whoever owned that sure didn't like the idea of safety....

What's the deal on the turbo vert in the background?

looks like a nice deal, why was it parked for so long? (indicated by the rust on the torque brace arm and pulleys)

you can ship me the reverse duct hood.

I know everything about the car if you want a damned novel on this thread. Here goes a little of the story.
PCS'd (military term) to Japan shortly after I blew an apex on the rear rotor on my 88TII in the states. After being in Iraq for a lot of the time and getting married to my wife, Sayaka, and having a baby, I finally found time to get back into the 7 world. One of the local Japanese locals...my tomodachi (friend), shows me his highly modified FC. Then he tells me that the shop where he does everything through (Re Action Racing) has one of their daily drivers that they will part with for 400,000 Yen. Yesterday Miaoka-san took me there to look over it from top to bottom. This is the shop owners car so I think that it is a pretty sound car. It was originally going to be a circuit but he's got other better cars now. As for not knowing the size of of the turbine and wastegate...it's all small and good but I plan on going bigger so I didn't need to ask the size. Japanese do business a little different then Americans so I had to use some etiquette being a new friend/buyer. Look at the price I am paying for it....I really just wanted to get his hand shake and get out before he changed his mind or something.
As for the Side Port....Japanese also use different terms for some of the things they do......so I'm done typing. Look it up.
I must have bad luck because I always get flammed for my posts...but it bites them in the *** when it comes around.

Yeah...the car was sitting at his house for a while. I guess he likes driving his 911 turbo better
I forgot, the ECU was reprogramed by Re-Action

You really like that hood??? I guess I just can't get my mind off stock TII look

Interior is a bit rough but NICE seat. I like the torque brace. How long was it sitting? (rusty pulleys are a dead giveaway)

I don't know about the comment of this not being a safe car. It also has FD brakes which are better. A roll cage. uuhhh seat-n-harness. The battery can only be removed with a wrench so I'd say its secure.

Not sure on the length of time it sat but he said he always ran it and it started no probs when I was there. Also things tend to rust and anodize fast here with the air and 24/7 rain

Yes the Japanese are VERY different in many ways, it was hard to get around when I was there, they didnt seem to want to even talk to an American and I was in Tokyo so Iknow that at least 5% of them spoke english. A little uncofortable.

the only safety concern i can see is that battery needs to be boxed, aside from that people always blab about safety on here.

i don't think the hood is great but functionality over form, the TII hood is now cunterproductive on my car so i need a reverse vented hood to get air out of the bay.

sorry about my little flaming bit, you gotta expect it on this forum. every other post is about some kid bragging about picking up a "steal".... the cars look more stolen than of a steal! beat to hell home depot mods and smoking like trains.

Are you anywhere near Panspeeds shop? If so i will give you $600 for that hood I am having a shipment sent stateside and I would need you to give it to the person handling the shipment but that would buy you a stock hood plus some other goodies.

My wife is Japanese so I speak a good bit of it. Japanese are very, very shy but a majority of them, especially in big cities speak a little english. Youd be amazed.
The hood does help a lot......and it cost a good bit from what they were telling me. I never bothered to look for the stateside price cuz I didn't want to change. The battery has the box it ws just off for the booster box you kind of see there in the hatch.

you can't even see how the harness attaches so how do you know it is unsafe?
