Oh, silly me, here I thought there was more to harness safety than just how it's bolted to the car....

If you look at the pics closer you can see that the harness is attached. It's just tucked away so you can sit in it without it killing your back. It's such a tight fit too.
The exhaust is nice but I just hope it will pass Japanese Inspection. I'm borrowing a catalitic convereter for the JI.
I used to have a Nissan Pulsar GTiR (All wheel drive SR20DET hatchback not sold in States) and I was going to ship it back but it was a big pain so I sold it. But now I may try to do it with the 7 cuz I have my 88 and I can just swap the stuff over for inspection I can get it to the port for free so maybe Also, this is a 91' FC!
And be on the lookout for my write ups on the overseas mods I will be doing to this. If you know me from my last car you know it will be done. Plus my buddy is an A-class drifter so I'll get some pics of his wild ride and driving skills. His car is cleaner than anything (RX7) I've laid my eyes on (I've been to the Tokyo auto salon so it must be good).

The problem is with the angle of the straps as they exit the seat, the angle is too much. I still want to know about that turbo vert in the back with all the stuff piled on it, looks to be in decent shape as far as I can see. You should find and sell some of those JDM parts all of the state-side folk are looking for, I know there's quite a bit of stuff over there that I'd love to get my grubby hands on.

mmmm....not any turbo vert to my recollection. There was a white FD in front, Black FD behind, blue FC on the right, and an Aristo on the left. Verts aren't too popular here with racers.....they are normally slammed with bags and wicked camber.
I was doing some shopping here a few months ago but I had to put a stop on it bcuz of the baby we just had. I'm starting again but it will probably pick up when I go get the car at the end of July. I gotta sell my Hilux first

As for PanSpeed, I've tried searching for it to no avail. If it's in Tokyo I'm a good 45 mins. I am right down the road from Border Racing. R-Magic is close, and a few others. But Re-Action are my type of guys.

It's parked right next to yours in the pics, it has all the stuff stacked ontop of it.

LOL! Damn SonicRat! I guess with all that junk on top and only looking at my 7, I missed it. I remember it there but I think its pretty much stock except for the Skyline GTR32 wheels.
Thanks for pointing it out for me bro!

Haha, I figured they'd have gone a little crazy with that one too, not often that I see original turbo verts! I noticed the hood of it in the other pic, then I saw the *** burried below all the stuff and was like oh!

Have you had a chance to drive it yet?

The wheels look like BRS Poisons.
Old school JDM guys would recognize it.

Yep, the tires are R-compound Bridgestones.
They look like RE-540's or something close to that.

Nice car!

I'm wondering how the car actually runs.

Stock ECU with a larger turbine, some kind of porting, and bigger injectors.

I assume SAFC but still. Ewww...

A side port is any porting job that isn't a stock port, peri-port, or bridge port.

Usually it's a street port.

I myself looked at the engine bay and wondered where the hell the AFM went...

Is it actually ok to do it like that?

And please, for the love of god, don't drive with those tires in the rain...

No A/C in Japanese heat must suck :p

Sideport is just a Japenese term for street port, nothing special.

Well, probably....but I dunno about the ewww. Im running a TO4-S, (AFM located to I/C piping like his) 720cc primaries and 1000cc secondaries with an Emanage. I've only had it test fired at this point because the FMIC needs to be finish welded and re-mounted but it runs fine, and Im sure whoever put his together has more tuning knowledge than me.

Granted a full standalone would be more flexible - but decent numbers, driveability and longevity can be attained on the stock maps with a bit of augmentation piggyback style.

Where are the pictures of your wife posing with it?

BTW: FD brakes better than FC brakes? Maybe the rear... the front are nearly identical, even use the same pads.
