My starter has two speeds. help

I did a search.. This website is really slow to load up pages so after awhile i got tired of looking.

Just got a new starter for my 5 speed swap. It sometimes turns the engine Over slow. But just fast enough to start the engine. However it takes a long time.
And somtimes it turns the engine so fast its like the engine is running.. Is this a ground issue. or some sort of resistor issue? I am not sure now what speed is normal.

Please no negitive posting.. Only usefull posting. or you will be reported

Speed will vary based on outside temperature and how good of a connection your cables and signal wire have. Polish up your connections if it keeps the engine from starting, if not, it's not really something to worry much about.
