Well, then it doesn't make much sense
You grounded the green connector near the battery/leading coils? Where did you ground it? I usually stick it in the battery terminal so that I know for sure it is, and I always have error codes due to none of the solenoids being on the car. But, *anyway* If the check engine light stays on after you start the car normally, it should throw error codes. check out www.1300cc.com for more info
