My shady brakes...

Ok, so I've had this car for about a month now, and finally got a chance to get it in the air, and get a good look at the suspension and brakes.....I guess its what I get for buying a sub $1000 car. But anyways, the brake pads appear to be awfully close to the rotors, I know I need new pads and rotors, so ignore those. But my question is this, would it be worth rebuilding the current calipers(so I can keep the mazda logo) or have people had bad luck doing that...so I should just get some remans? Now for the pictures.

These are the fronts:

And thanks for your input if you have some!

The pads seem to have some meat left, but on the one side one of the pads is wearing more than the other, I would say it's not retracting all the way, you can likely, free it up.

A re-maned caliper that still have the Mazda logo are about $60/side; a rebuild kit for both sides is about 50-60, personally I would go with the re-maned caliper because you get new pistons, the old ones are usually corroded to crap, or get mangled when you try to remove them from the caliper body. Plus they are clean and less paint and prep work if you decide to paint them.
