My seatbelt broke in a crash, can I legally do anything?

^^^ definately agreed, a seatbelt should outlast any other part on a vehicle, its safety for ones self, and for your passenger..

p.s. dori dori wow I cant believe you are such an *******. Get a life man, your a joke for responding the way you did.

Maybe instead of investing in lambo doors you should have invested in a good seat and some 4 point belts..

Both of you are calling people stupid but can't even use near proper English. Anybody else see the depressing irony of this?

Not using near proper English on the internet isn't a new thing, nor is it the end of the world. However, typing like a 3rd grader and calling someone else dumb...

But, to each his own. If you're happy with it, so be it.

Well, since you want it written in proper english, here it is.

Well Dori, you're a dumbass for replying with such a childish remark. Seat belts are desigend to last, in most cases I would imagine, longer than the vehicle itself. Had you been in your RX-7 and suffered such a small mishap, even though no injury occured, or had a friend or someone you cared for been in your passenger seat that was injured or killed due to a faulty seat belt, then you would be in a foul mood as well.

You would probably be asking about legal advice in the matter as well. STFU

there

Seriously Im not looking to get rich off of this, its not anything like that, but the seatbelt should be garunteed for life, at the very least I want both replaced. I would ask for medical bills also but it was a "no fault" so the other guys insurance pays that.

I believe I have a very firm right to be pissed here. yes it was just a 20mph accident and I am lucky as **** that it was, imagine the seatbelt breaking in a 60mph crash or a rollover. This **** just isnt right.

well this thread has degenerated to nothing but name calling, so it looks like it's time to close it.

Thread closed.

And next time, talk to a Lawyer, instead of asking for opinions from a internet board. I mean come on... most of the people on this board are under 22, and would have no clue about laws in your state or federal laws on vehicle safety.

Thread closed. If the originator can come up with a good reason that it should be re-opened he can PM myself or any 2nd gen RX-7 technical section moderator.
