Question Is my resistor relay bad??????

I checked my resistor relay according to the FSM, and
the resistance from A-B is 0, from C-D it is approx 75,
both within the specs, BUT from E-F it is showing approx 1.02 ohms which is higher then the .64 stated in the FSM

What does this mean when the resistance is higher then what it should be?
I am just about to do my rewire and want to know if the resistor relay is good?

You must be refering to KILO-ohms, right?

Make sure the meter has been zeroed.

Do you have the relay isolated, or is it still connected to wiring?

All right, I've never had to troubleshoot this particular relay, but I'm assuming contacts A & B are the "switch" contacts, C & D are the relay coil (although 75 ohms sounds kinda high for a coil), and E & F is the internal resister...

If the resistance is higher than it should be (and you're talking about it being about 45% higher than it should be), the component down the line might suffer from an unintended voltage drop, it all depends on the circuit layout...

Again, you have to be talking KILO-ohms, for the above to be true...

Thats what I thought, I am just in the process of doing my pump rewire(walbro 255) and I just couldnt decide wether or not to use the resistor relay. I am going to toss and just deal with the richer idle. I will just lean it out a bit at idle when I get my safc.

Your quick help is appreciated.
