Yea, the 350 guys seem to think it's the holy grail of motoring. The car is NOT a Japanese supercar like tha last 300ZXTT was because it wasn't designed or marketed that way. It's a much cheaper, more accessible Z car that is back to the roots of the original Z. That means, a nice NA powerplant, an affordable price tag, attractive design and good performance.

The 350Z does everything well without excelling in any particular area. Modding the car for power is tough as the computer re-learns (like new scoobies do) around mods and won't let you piggy-back for fuel control. Twin turbo kits are big dollars for a relatively low power sum for the money (power enterprises is $10K!!).

Can you tell these guys tick me off a bit? We have one at the shop (my brothers car). It's got a load of mods and I love it, but I know what it is and what it's not. It's a $26K Japanese performance bargain, that's it It isn't a porsche no matter how you slice it.
