I have one that is used but You should proly get a new one. Mazdatrix.com is the place they have the cooler and a stainless steel line set with everything you need. There are probably othere places but that is the one I know about. Wait I think rx7heaven.com has some used ones too.

Use Mazdatrix for the upgraded braided stainless steel cooler lines. I believe they are around $150. Cheaper than stock. www.mazdatrix.com

As far as the cooler, I would say anywhere besides the dealer. They will charge upwards of $500! I would say find it used such as a junk yard or ebay. However, with that you are buying an unknown. In that case you should get that cooler flushed PROFESSIONALLY!

Who knows if the cooler came out of an RX-7 that had bearing failure and put all sorts of metal in the cooler. By professionally I mean take the cooler to an airport and have them flush it like they would an aircraft cooler. Do a search on forum for oil cooler flushing. Lots have been written.

Why is your cooler toast?

Everything I've read says that the OEM cooler is the only one up to the task of our engines. Many aftermarkets have been tested, and deemed either inadequate, or downright dangerous in combination with the RE. The stocker doesn't look overly impressive, but I guess it gets the job done right.

go to a welding supply or a good mac. shop and bring your old oil lines they can crimp new extreme high temp/press hoses to the fittings. ive done this on three different cars one of which has gone over 100k. with the replacement line. about $50
