While they look the part, knock offs very very rarely have the finish of the real pieces, nor are they as strong. I'm glad they are out there, don't get me wrong - but it's a buyers market and many buyers want the $ look without spending the $ hehe
If there is ONE company that Rotas are very very well suited, it's Subaru. They knock off many of the Prodrive wheels as well as some Volk and Work etc...and make them accessible in the odd Subaru bolt patterns/offsets. Go to any Subaru forum like www.nasioc.com and you'll find many many Rota freaks!

ARGH!!!! the wheels dont fit in the front, they hit the strut, so goodbye peerdy wheels! i have to exchange them for another style....... i think im gonna get the R-1 GTR-10 wheel, its a very good looking wheel........ the main reason it suck so much is because those rotas fit PERFECTLY on the rear, the extra 1'' of width just fills the wheel well!!! i tried to see if they could get me a 17x7 or 17x7 1/2 for the front.... but no such luck! ill post pics of my "other" new wheels when they come in!

what? they hit the strut, AND are sticking out of the fender, all at the same time? this is an 8 inch wheel, right?
dude, just get a 5mm spacer. it will be fine.
oh, and I know a guy thats gonna be running 16x9 +15. they stick like 50mm farther out than the stock wheels, but his pretty certain he'll be able to tuck them under.
so these wheels sticking a few mm out you should have no prob once the suspension is on the ground. remember, with the suspension hanging, there will be more + camber than when the car is on the ground, making the wheel appear to stick farther out than it will.

I have run 17x8"s +30 offset up front with 245's. I had to roll the fenders but they definitely did not stick out.
I have also run 17x8.5" +37 offset up front with 245's and they fit under the stock fenders. I had to grind down the stock spring perch to get a few mm of clearance.

So should I get spacers on all the tires to even things out? Or would I be straight with just the spacers on the front?
For the record though, I haven't had any of the problems you seem to be having... granted mine aren't 17's but still...
Love my rims.

I agree, there's no way that an 8" wheel will hit the fender and the strut. I've got 17x8's in a 32mm offset with 225/45/17's and they fit fine, no rubbing ever, even at the race track.

hhhmmmmm... well, the rim itself doesnt hit, but the spring perch sticks over the rim, therfore when a tire is put on the rim, the tire will hit the perch!!!! and the wheel sticks out of the fender a few mm's.......nothing drastic! but if i put a 5 mill. spacer on it , it will be out too far!!! but, im gonna figure this one out!!! im gonna order 5mm spacers, and if they stick out, then ill order those vented fenders that give me 10mm extra on each side..... that should be plenty of room
