My new Turbo II

Picked it up yesterday. It has 188k miles, but I think the engine has been replaced because it just runs too good. Aside from some electrical issues the cars in good shape. The paint is faded and chipped a bit, and there is a dent on the rear under the hatch and some minor rust on the passanger door. Everything will be sanded down, filled and repainted one of these days. Interior is the blueish grey cloth. Its very clean just needs a little steam cleaning and tlc. I broke down 3 times on the way home (about a 150 mile trip from just east of Atlanta back to Birmingham Al) due to electric problems, flooding and not having enough energy in the battery to crank it once I cleared the flood. Then another time the alternator belt broke and i had to call for backup which took about 2 hours. So it took me 12 hours total lol. Heres some crappy pictures I took with my old cheap camera.

That last pictures color is off for some reason, the carpet isnt that brown, think it was just the flash.

Future mods will be pretty minor. Near future just an Rtek chip, injectors, electric fans, full turbo back RB exhaust and some other small stuff. Then once the engine goes one of these days Itll be time for a street port and possibly turbo upgrade along wih other small stuff

$3500. Probably could have found one for less, but I was wanting one too bad to wait. the paint is a bit worse than it looks. Alot of spider webbing and fading. The plastic mirrors are the worst, nearly solid white on the top from sun bleeching. But itll get new paint and the trim will be pulled off and I'll fill it and make it look clean. Also be getting the round newer style tail lights and a S5 bumper with foglights. Stock wheels will probably stay because I want a semi sleeper. Might do the wheels powdercoated in gunmetal or dark bronze

Also does anyone know of anything near the fuse block under the hood on the driver side that might cause the car to be sluggish or lose power? The entire trip home yesterday It felt underpowered, but I just took it for a quick drive and it seems to have picked up power. Might of just been the fact it was 90 and dry yesterday and this morning it was 75 and damp. All of my wiring problems though i think are coming from that fuse block and the ground wires near it. They are all chopped up and mangled and have wires exposed. I can jiggle the wire that feeds power to the bottom of the fuse block and make things click on and off, so once thats fixed maybe everything else will fall into place!

I must have fixed whatever it was. The car now starts up with no problem and its much faster than it was on the trip home. Runs like a scalded dog

Why is that? Im liking having a near spotless interior. Especially since Ive steam cleaned the carpets and seats (after those pictures). I am planning on down the road to install black carpet and nice atermarket black leather racing seats.

This car looks great! Looks like you found a rare clean 7.

One side note: When jumping two cars together, the negitive jumper cable goes on to ground on the engine block on the car with the dead battery. I have helped many people jump their cars, the worst is when someone with a dead battery tells me the cables go only on the battery terminal!

Anyway great looking car, keep showering it with affection and it will make u happy!

Thumbs up

These are after a good cleaning. Still in need of paint. The paint is faded and really rough with alot of chips and spiderwebing. Interior though is spotless except for a little dirt that wouldnt come off of the carpets

i think you should keep the bumper and taillights stock. I love the s4 t2 look and plus the s5 bumper moldings won't match up.

Ok, mods list time. This is what I plan to have by christmas:

Rebuild engine w/ street port
BNR Stage 2 Turbo rebuild
Spec Stage 3 clutch
Spec Alum. Flywheel
RB Turbo back exhaust
Greddy FMIC
Greddy BOV
Electric fan(s)
Rtek 1.7 and 720's to go along
Walbro 255
Few other ignition mods and surely some other stuff Im forgetting. Hope to have around 275-325whp, depending on my boost.

For the interior and exterior all I plan is new paint and S5 tails, and maybe some wheels later on. Plan on keeping it stock and clean! Thanks for the good words guys

I have a question about injectors. What kind of max HP will a 550cc and 720cc setup run? Im planning on getting a BNR Stage 2, 550 and 720, Rtek 1.7, RB Turbo-back exhaust, and some other goodies. Im hoping to get at least 300-325rwhp out of it. So will 720's be enough? Anybody running a somewhat similar setup? Im not looking for insane power, just a nice fast daily driver

Just bought my first mods for her. Bought my Rtek 1.8 and sent it off, ordered my 4x 720cc injectors, got a replacement fuse block because mine was cracked. Also get a new pulsation damper. Not really "mods" but they are the basis for my soon upcoming mods. Within the next few weeks Ill be buying my exhaust and then another few weeks my BNR Stage 3 will follow. Then on with some other supporting mods and maybe my FMIC. Im waiting off for a while until i rebuild and port the engine. Hope to have it up to at least 250whp by christmas if all goes as planned. Then maybe 300 by Feb.

Just posting up for those of you that care lol, or have nothing better to do than read other peoples build plans
