my new (and first) tII!

picked her up over the weekend. pretty decent shape, has her dings and scratches nothing too bad, worst blemishes are on her hood.

interior is very clean.

engine bay pretty clean too.

problems:

she starts up fine, but won't hold idle, smells pretty rich, some times backfires before she dies. if i hold her at 2k she seems to run fine though. she has good compression with 14k on an atkins rebuild. i need to spend more time with her, but can't for 3 weeks, i have to finish up school.

sunroof needs fixed. one of the tracks is pretty fouled up. most everything else seems to work inside though.

drivers outside handel linkage is broke has to be opened from the inside.

key does not open hatch.

other little things, but my first priority is getting her running right again, hehe.

here she is at her new home.

Hope you have better luck with her than I or Bill had with her Nate. I hope that you can pin-point the problem soon and get her back on the road. Like I said, everything except electrical problems have been diagnosed and taken care of, so thats where I would begin.

I've tried to email and IM Nathan regarding the car. In all honesty, I believe that he found it needed a rebuild, and put it in the barn to sit while he went to grad school...

That is jut my guess, I do not really know. I just kind of wondred what happened to my old car.
