my new exhaust setup. you like?

This is my new exhaust setup. It's got removed cats with a resonator that's almost 2 feet long in place, to a y pipe with 2" back to two 'turbo' mufflers that my muffler guy swore up and down would be able to handle the rotary. We'll see about that. Then it just has some Ractive (I know, Ractive=rice) tips on it. I really like the sound...it's very deep and smooth, not raspy at all. I have felt great power gains with this setup, I can't believe the difference. My butt dyno says 15-20 hp gain. Ahh well, who knows. Well anyway, do you think it looks ricey or good?

Not too bad, hope it doesn't melt the bumper too bad.

There's a small gap in there somewhere. Hopefully it will work.

It'd be better if the tips were round.

lol 10-20hp, the most you got was 7hp THATS THE MOST, the exhaust was good from the factory, after ya remove the precats. headers are the best thing for quick painless HP.

geez, I didn't think it was that crappy looking. I was very concerned not to seem ricey.

As far as the 15-20 hp gain not being possible, the butt dyno never lies. Plus I had cats with 130k on them (clogged all to hell) and a 1 1/2" crapola cat back. I think 15-20 hp is possible, not over stock mind you but over what I had previously.

I like it because the tips aren't like 5 inch fart can style. The only thing that i dont like is the way that the tips are angled. It might be because the tip is oval and will not fit but that is just my opinion. Happy verting my fellow vert friend!

if you dont look directly at the exhaust and just the back of the car in general it looks pretty good but when you focus on just the exhaust i dont really like it. i like the kind thats a darker color with just a circle tip at the end and doesnt stick out of the back. sorda like its hard to see unless you look. thats just me though. anyone who knows what im talking about post a picture if you have one.

upload it somewhere and put the link on here. i know of a site you can upload it on but its for like extreme sports type stuff (i ride bmx). ask other people who have uploaded where to upload. that way we can all see and you dont have to worry about email.

not to be pessimistic, but 10-20hp is a far cry...well, 20 is a far cry. 10 might be attainable.
