My new baby

Today at about 1:30 p.m. I became the proud owner of a 1988 Turbo 2 10th Anneversary Edition RX-7.
I saved this wonderful car from certin destruction.
My buddy Mike and I found it in the junk yard a few weeks ago. When Mike asked about it the guy said that it ran. I put a battery in it and it fired right up! Gave the guy a deposit and picked it up today.
The car needs some minor body work and has an exhaust leak that wont let it build boost. The interior is in good shape except for the seats. It also has the typical hot start problem. I drove it about 20 minutes from the junk yard to mikes house with no real problems. I then trailered it to my house. The best part is that I payed $800 for it!

Later,
Mike
