My N/A Vert Likes to Flood

Just like it says, every time I turn off the car, the next time I start it, it is flooded. I started reving it up to 3K, then turn off the car while fully depressing the pedal. This seems to work well, but it still shouldnt flood like it does. Any suggestions on why it does this? The car has good compression, and has been taken care of, but if it dies when it is cold, I have to pull the EGI fuse, crank over for 10 seconds, then put it back in, and it starts right up. Any help would be appreciated.

Also, I have a fully built Turbo II, and it has only flooded once in the past year.

i have an na gtus and when i turn it off i pull the e-brake, put it in first, and let the idle drop to about 500rpm then i turn it off. seems to work for me especially during winter. Now when you rve up to 3k and turn while its decelerating, when do you turn off the ignition?

i turn off the ignition when it reaches 3k, and hold the accelerator to the floor until the motor stops completley, thats what Chris at RP recommends.

I think it is Mazdatrix that sells a bleed back valve for this symptom. But me mentioning it seems to inflame some of the older members. There is a thread that debates the use of this device.

After taking apart my motor I understand what they are saying.
