Help With Power Windows?

The idiot who owned my mazda before me converted the power windos to cranks and put the cranks in the most awkward of spots. He tells me it was because he kept burning window motors. How hard is it to convert them back to power windows and what kinda parts am i looking at?

just get the power window regulators (motor and drive units) from your local pick and pull. It's not that big a deal. I'm about to do that myself. It's been sunny and about 70 here in silicon valley, and it's such a pain to have to lean over and crank down the passanger window!

ive done the conversion in my car. you need to make sure you have the wiring harness in the door still, besides that all you need are the doorpanels, switches and regulators with motors. took me a whole 30min to do it too.

i've got a set of power window motor/regulators they're $313 each new at mazdatrix, if you want to spend that much.. I dunno yet if my spare set works but i'll test them tomorrow, PM me maybe we could work something out, word of warning alot of time its not the motor that goes out, its the shitty switches, my main one just went out and its only the driver's side window, that motherf@cker
