is my motor ok?

well, I have driven the seven off adn on for short periods the last couple of months and today when I took it out I started out fine. It ran well then all of a sudden it the power just cut, it slowed down to a crawl and it took all I could do to go 10 miles an hour. I crank it up and it will shake at idle and if I put my foot to the floor it will sit at 1500 and slowly go up and runs like ****. I took out my plugs and they were charoal and fouled. I cleaned them up but it did not help but a little. they maybe burnt up because my car floods alot. I will change them tomorrow. My car does not idle well becasue the tps is off, if that helps any? ok, any suggestions would be nice and always i know to go and search the forum. Oh, the car is an 87' N/A that has a ported intake and trottle body and full exhaust just for referance.

No, I have a TPS it just maybe off a little if any. I do not think that is it. I think it is ignition. My mufflers are fine.

sounds like blown motor to me...

what kind of cats did you use? generic cat melted and created back pressure in one of the cars I bought, and blew the engine before I bought it.

Yea, My motor blew. one of the seals or the rear rotor housing is gone it does so I ordered another motor. I am taking out my blown one and rebuilding it and porting it. What suggestions do yall have on building it? I have lots of time and a decent budget. I work with 4 differant mazda GTP racing guys so they can help a lot but I just wanted to get some help from street guys because their rotaries are like 9000 dollar racing ones and they have problems adapting to street motors. Thanks for the help.

TII housings, S5 rotors, large streetport, 3piece 2mm seals are best.
Is this a race engine? high revs?
Get hardened stationary gears, lightened rotors, etc.

why would you want TII housings? Is it so that porting the exhaust would be easier since you dont have to grind out the diffuser?
