CA Is My Motor Finished???

So i was driving home today, just cruising, i take my off ramp from the freeway and all of a sudden feel like I'm getting no power, and a crazy amount of shaking...I shot at the light and the car is shaking like crazy, all the way the the shifter. I try to accelerate and am able to drive home, but felt like a loss of power, and the car finally dies out right in front of my garage...

I'm able to start it up once more and pop the hood. motor was shaking ridiculously and can here a ticking type of noise at idle... rev it a little and it sounds horrible but smooths out a little, and when I let off the throttle it chokes and dies out.

Is it time for a new motor? searched and couldn't find to much on this. Hope you guys can help me out...

Unplug the crank sensor take out the lower plugs and have a friend crank it over. The fact there and noise along with make me think there is a good chance of the rotors will have no compression. WHo knows may you are lucky and an injector took a ****(but unlikely).

SPARK PLUGS! Check all your plugs. This happened to my N/A once and it was just the plugs. So much fuel was going through the engine and not being burned that my exhaust pipe was glowing red!

I had a running, driving S5 that was blown. One housing and rotor destroyed. I drove it more than once and it never failed to start.
