Everybody seems to put the intercooler there but is the piping in the way of the headlights? I mean people who keep the stock ones. heres were i put mine so i can keep the headlight motors in the same place.

yeah my lip is fucked up it's sits like 4" off the ground and before I got used to it being so low I scraped it on everything. I'm going to fix it and paint it after I graduate from Sac State in May, I commute to Sacramento so it would be pointless to paint before then.

houstonderk I had to cut the hell out of the RE kit because the intercooler is so big. I had to take all the lips (mouth, fog light hole, brake ducts) almost flush with the bumper.
I also ditched all the bumper support stuff.

No bumper support. Don't get in a fender bender.

headlights, a/c, p/s and battery aren't affected by the greddy VSPL kit.

bumper support is - but you can keep it, you just have to trim the bottom rail off of it, weakening it by maybe 50-60%.

ilike2eatricers I did notice much better response as well. My BOV is also noticeably louder, lol. I just don't reach 14PSI I guess I'll try again once I get the greddy TB elbow in the mail.

BTW here are more pics.
This is with my BOV welded up and my mesh installed to protect my intercooler from rocks and crap.

I also relocated my radiator overflow, near the pass. shock tower, to move more air through the FMIC

I got it from a forum member. It was new he never ended up installing it so I bought it from him.

It's the Greddy V-spec kit. You can get it from rx7store.net, Jason has the best price on it new, $940.

It takes quite a bit of fabrication to get it to fit right on the 87-88 but it is one of the cleanest most complete kits out.
