Anyone put in an Rx8 **** in their FC? The boot is too short

Anyone know how I can hook up the boot to the bottom of the ****. It doesn't look that great with the sift rod exposed with no boot to cover it.

How to get an RX8 **** to look right in the FC?

Anyone know how I can hook up the boot to the bottom of the RX8 ****. It doesn't look that great with the shift rod exposed with no boot to cover it. The stock one is much taller than the Rx8 one.

its not that hard to remember its 5gears only. im the only one driving it. it just looks unfisnihed with the shift boot sitting way low now and a shift rod exposed a couple inches.

Anyway, you can make yourself a home made short shifter, Just cut the top inch or so of thread, and that'll make your **** an inch closer to the boot. If that's not close enough...search the forums, I think there are several manufacturers of aftermarket shifter boots, maybe they may be taller than the stock boot.

First of all there are 5 speed rx8 illuminated shift ***** but not available in america. There were several group buys on these before.

Anyways if you want the boot to sit flush with the **** why dont you just get a rubber spacer/donut type deal to fit on the base of the shifter shaft to raise the boost higher.
