Did you ever find out what was wrong?

My car is only seeing decent boost at 5000+rpm. It so laggy I want my stock system back. Same turbo etc. T04B60-1 .96A/R .70 trim Ptrim 4"inlet.

Car did post a 408.8rwhp at 15psi. Just lag's so bad it feels like an N/A! tires barely spin to untill 7000rpm! I made 3 psi at around 3800 and up.

Turbo is laggy as hell. I see full boost at 5000rpm and thats VERY late. I had no idea that To4B was that laggy, or is there something wrong with my car?
Its very difficult to have a good launch because you need so much rpm(+4500) or the car will choke when release the clutch. Everytime I shift it takes 1-1,5sec before the turbo is back in action, depending on how fast I shift. Okay I know Iīm not very good driver but I want to be gentle to my tranny.

And about the grip. I have 255/45/17 on rear-> can hardly spin my tires even if I try(donīt get boost).

Should my turbo be THAT laggy?

PS. I have to admit that the car is fast but not THAT fast...yet...

That's a big turbo (high flow)

The more power u want--the more lag u get.

There is no magic turbo that does it all....just some that cheat a little(ball b???$$$)

Sounds like a great drag turbo....I want one.

Trade ya....I get 17-19 psi @ 4k on my hybrid.....but it will only get 12's in the 1/4

some of these dyno numbers scare me, i always keep thinking why the torque measurements are so high on some but average on others. i just don't think some dynos can be trusted.

Not necessarily true...
After a certain point, you are right.
