Well, he was tired of hearing me bitch and moan about my cats being clogged, so he purchased a 2.5" race pipe from Rx7.com. I was hoping to do some dual exhaust, but now, I guess I won't. Whats the best setup to use past this pipe? Also, am I going to have flamage w/ it????

Yeah, my dad never would EVER willingly buy me something. If I moaned and bothered him about something I wanted, he would probably tell me to shut the **** up!

Anyway, Flammage is still possible, but you need straight through mufflers after that for sure. You have headers right? You wont get flames without headers...

 

I don't really want flames...I was just curious if I would get them. The only thing I'm hoping to gain from this is maybe 10HP. No, I don't have headers either. Oh well...with my intake and this, I should be at about 160HP...but when I get the catback on I hope it'll be more like 170HP.

i just took my race pipe off... i couldnt stand the loss of torque anymore.. got my headers to my cat to my n1. better that way. because i can take off from lites w/o havin to rev the **** outa it.

no you wont. you have a racepipe that has a 6 port sending unit on it. thats good, cuz you 6 ports will open close to normal. i had to wire mine open, which caused like 0 low end torque but made for a screaming fast top end. i was also using headers tho.. i just had in a straight cat replacement pipe.. or "test" pipe..
