My conversion runs BUT
First, I would like to THANK all of you for your help on the info to do my conervsion.
I have converted a 87 GXL to a TII. It seems to run fine, but I have a couple problems. The voltage gauge only reads 9 volts and doesn't change. I've checked the altenator and it is putting out 14.4 volts. I've double - triple - quadruple checked the wiring and believe it to be right. ANY SUGGESTIONS??
I bought an external boost gauge but don't know exactly where to hook it up. Does someone have a pic or explain where to hook it up?
Thanks Again, Jim

Have you checked the voltage @ the battery? I'd start there, then I'd trace it all back. Boost gauge you can stick on the nipple on the passanger side of the intake manifold.
