You must be confusing me with Adam. No such claims have ever been made by me. And if they had (which I doubt) I was lying.

Almost all threads are the same nowadays. 1st page is usually readable and containing useful or interesting info, then someone starts voicing a different opinion, then the threads 5 pages long full of a couple peoples bitching about stupid stuff.

they look dope... and besides, my lens covers fell out... i mean, right now, they kind of look somewhat aggressive on a black car with no lens covers... but... it kind of looks funny when you look at it up close... it's obvious that there's something missing... hehehe

I wish I had pictures of my FTP lense covers!! I removed the stock ones and replaced it with black Pontiac honeycomb grille. It looks really cool and even looks OEM. Plus I get cold air to my intake now.

Hey sean,
A guy died when he rearended another person at like 40 or 50mph(can't remember) and the kleenex box in the back window flew forward and hit him in the head. Pretty sick right? And if you take an empty coke can and drive at 75mph, hold it out the window, and flick it at a person as you go by and it hits them in the chest it will break ribs and knock them on thier a$$. If you hit them in the face it will crush their face. Physics sux some times. Its all about inertia.
Scarey.
Charles

Both of those are urban legends, or some sick twist of nature.

An empty coke can would weigh maybe 20 grams, tops, so 0.020 kg. 75 MPH is approximately 35 m/s. Thus, the momentum of the object (P=MV) would be 0.7 kg m/s. That amount of momentum would be the same impact on the body as a basball would be at ~10 mph.
I've seen Baseball players take hits to the chest at 90+ mph and not fall down or get more than a bruise.

This assumes that the wind resistance on the can is negliable, and that the person was standing still.

Fundamentary physics used for simple proof.

What did I do to deserve being called a queer?

I tried to stop the argument, and even used elementary physics to side with you.

sean, I thought I was talking to you the other night on AIM, not justin. Not that I thought you're queer... although grown men with bottles...

justin, bashed=insulted, not hit. I must have no friends... but here, you say I'm just like your best friend. I must have friends like you in droves?

Honestly, the progress is negligible. With the cold weather here (we obviously wern't prepared for it) a lot of the stores are closed. No stores, no equipment; no equipment, no product.

Moreover, the CF guy is getting flakey. I've got more than enough FG experience, so I'm thinking to try it myself. If my friend (Sheldon) doesn't come around and get on the ball, I've got another friend (Chance) with plunty of FG experience (minimal CF exp) that could take his place.

working with fiberglass and carbon are not the same thing by a longstretch. you should try it yourself but it will take a long time and a lot of $ in carbon to learn with and dont forget the equipment before a sellable product materializes. Making carbon parts is hard, otherwise youd see everyone who knows F glass cashing in on the CF craze. No offense but this will turn onto antother carbon lost cause. That sucks
