My car has some random tendencies that just kind of puzzle me. My hazards will turn on when the cars just sitting. Earlier I was washing it and my horn out of no where just starts going off. For no reason. WTF?

 

damn thats funny I had a problem like that twice before last summer, my hazards came on while driving on the freeway and wouldnt turn off, I had to disconnect the battery then they where normal again, then a couple weeks later they did it when the car was off during the night and drained my battery and it has never done it since, maybe just some old circuitry making continuity since the cars old who knows

 

sounds like you were Scrubbing your car ..and it got "horny"..(haha)..(that was bad)..another note..you know if that thing still has a factory alarm?..or an aftermarket ..

something could be wrong in or around the fuse panel...
Maybe your CPU is fubared....

 

The cpu was replaced right before I bought it. It does have a factory alarm, but the only thing I have known it as till now is a blinking yellow security box in center console. The hazards is what scares me......
