the fuse block is on the driver side, right behind the battery. the fuse you need to pull is the second one from the inside... () X () () () () () I think thats right anyway, just going by memory

Are you talking about the unflood procedure? what kind of rx-7 do you have?
my 87 turbo 2 likes to flood but it's not that hard to clear. open your hood and find the black relay box on the driver's side. Pull out the green inj relay and crank it for like 4-5 secs with the gas pedal down. Pop your relay back in, crank it, and that should start it up. oh yeah if your tach doesen't wanna work after the procedure, drive your rex until you pick up sufficient speed to do a rolling start, Leave the car in gear, step on you clutch, and turn off your engine. Turn the key to the notch before activating the starter and dump your clutch. after the car starts your tach should come back online.

What does the unflood procedure have to do with the tach? Mine does that and I thought it was a tach problem with wiring.

Mines a NA s5, I finally got it to crank BUT after running it around the block I noticed my car just isn't the same, I hear a weird noise that doesnt go away.

For the future, any way to PREVENT this from happening?

Thank you for the help.

It sounds like air, or something similar to a whistle noise.

I thought that was for S5's only. Flooding got so bad in S4's and people kepts having to get out and pull the EGI fuse from their engine bay, crank, and put it back in that Mazda put in a fuel cut into S5's. When you floor S5's that are flooded while cranking it will cut fuel and fire up.
