so for a while now I have been using the throttle cable to control my idle, and while this sort of works, Id rather get it to work like its supposed to.

I have a working bac valve but the idle set screw on the throttle body seems to make no difference, this I attribute to the throttle cable situation.

so basically I need to know why everythime I try to fix this the car refuses to idle without the help of tha cable.

ah man, you messed with the $1000 screw on the throttle body?

You are going to need to set timing and re-set the idle screw... good luck
