My car makes weird noises... need help

my car makes this weird noise, it sounds like a rattling at low rpm's. it seems to only happen when at low rpm's and i don't hit full boost (no blow off valve noise either). when i pound the gas, and spool up the boost i don't notice it (it might be because i just can't hear it over all the noise)... i have no idea what it could be. any help would be appreciated.

PS. I think my turbine is leaking if that helps.

Does it sound like loose metal? Could be your exhaust shielding. Describe more of the sound. You could have an air leak i dunno...

Weird Noise

Had a weird noise that no one, not even the guys at Mariah in Santa Barbara could diagnose. It made the rattling, almost a whining noise, at low speed. Had it up in the air with me in the car and someone else on the ground trying to diagnose. I replaced the transmission support and checked and rechecked all the shielding down there as well. All to no avail. The cure? New/salvage yard driveshaft. The noise was coming from the front U joint in the driveshaft. It was on the way out. Difficult to see up front and without pressure on it when up in the air, it wasn't making noise. Check your u-joints as a possible source.
