I recently bought an rx7 , was told it was the crank angle sensor ... so thats why it was getting no spark, come to find out the wiring harness underneath the dash is all messed up, wires burnt, wires burnt together and cut, so come to find out im getting no spark because the computer is getting no power...how great !! so the mechanic told me my car is junk and this cannot be fixed due to the fact that you never know if this problem is just going to occur again and the electrical system will short out again somehow. I was also told the computer is fried. Is this fixable or is my car really junk ?

 

it's gonna be one hell of a project to replace those wires...as for the computer you might want to check mazdatrix

The task before isnt hard just time consuming. If you do this project dont be a monkey and do every thing in black and red. I got a car with similr problem (1980 Corolla) and the monkey who had the car before me did everything in black and red wires and used scotch tape to connect wires. Dont be that guy, he is a monkey and should be man slapped.
