Is my car drivable
today I noticed that I had no oil pressure. I have been driving my car, and it seems to be running fine. If there really was no oil pressure would i notice something? is it just my oil pressure gauge? I do have oil.
I need my car by tomorrow, if you could reply asap that would be great.
Thankyou

Yeah definitely check the sender... if you aren't sure where it is, its right underneath the oil filter, there is a sort of round bulbous thing sticking out. That is the sender. There is a wire with a sliding clip that clips onto the little connector on the side of the sender. The wire should be yellow with a red stripe but most likely its filthy and you won't be able to tell what color it was.
That connection needs to be clean, as project84 said, and tight. If, after checking that, you still have no oil pressure registering on your gauge, it is most likely the gauge's fault.
If your oil filter was not replaced in the last 1000-2000 miles then you could probably do with a new one of those too, while you're down there.
