My car is beeping and the only thing I did was to remove the stereo to install a new one this week end. Doubt very much its got anything to do with it. Actually it beeps only after I start rolling. If I start the car and sit there it wont beep only after I start moving it will beep five times pause and beep again until I stop the car. Hope that its one of those dumb things. Please Help

check the coolant and oil level....
how did you lock your car.... because it may cuz by the security system in the car .....

Maybe your CPU got jam up ....

 

This sounds consistent with the power steering system, check the fluid level. Also, maybe broken wire, pump, speedo cable, etc.

 

also if the turn signal cancel arm isn't lined up correctly it will cause a beep. you would need to take off the steering wheel and verify that the arrows for the turn signal cancel are aligned properly.

 

i posted a little while after my first post but did not go through...yes i also installed a momo steering wheel and did not align it properly. read about it in the archives went out there and aligned it and bingo...problem solved...thanks for your replies
