Talking My baby RUNS again !!!

Hey everyone,

I haven't been here for a long time.... My engine blew over a year ago. But I finally got it running again. I was able to get a used motor from someone on the forum (Thanks!). Today I started it up, and it runs beautifully! So I thought I'd tell all the fellow rotary fans.

I'm so happy I've fallen in love with my car all over again.

Oh I still have the old engine. I plan on taking it apart to at least look at it. Probably when I have some extra time. I don't know if I'll actually rebuild it, it will depend on the condition.

yeah it has. I didn't feel right posting without really having my car. But I'm back and will pop in every so often, especially at work.

Well it's the second day and she's still running great. I checked the fluids this morning and they're all good, so nothing is leaking. I guess I did a pretty good job. She already has 150 miles on her.

Well she sprung a coolant leak last night. I was so upset I cried. I wasn't sure where she was leaking from cause it was dark. But I found the problem this morning, the heater hose on the driver side had busted open a little bit. No auto parts dealers had the right hose (go fig) So I just cut it after the bust. It's only a temp fix until I can find a hose.
