I've been scanning eBay for Sparco EVO2's for the past several months now.
I've gotten close, but I haven't won one yet.
I always keep getting overbid by one overzealous buyer! :P
There was an EVO3 (wider than the EVO2, and can't confirm if it'll even fit in the FC!) that went for a little over $350 a few days ago; the seat was in good shape, but the "wings" were faded (seat was black) - the winning bid for ~$370 was a steal, as brand new the EVO3 retails for $729!
Prior to that, there were a COUPLE auctions for PAIRS of EVO2's, and they went for a little over $900.
That's a damn good price for seats that cost $699 (retail) each!
In fact, one auction for a pair of them were BRAND NEW EVO2's (with sliders and side mounts) - the seats were just fitted into a project car then yanked - literally zero miles on them.
I'm surprised the seats actually pop up pretty regularly on eBay...
I better shut up now, cause I'm giving away all my parts hording secrets!

Ted, any interest if they dont fit me? The only downside (from my standpoint) is that they are blue. I was going to check into having them dyed black or something if I end up really liking the fit.

I was just going to order them through a vendor brand new since I was having bad luck getting them used off eBay.
I'm 6'1", 240#, 40" waist dropping to a 38" soon :P
I'm a tight fit in the EVO2, but I'm trying to drop down to under 230# and a solid 38" waist in the next few months - that should make it just about perfect.
No problem about the color either, as my car is blue.
Drop me a note if things don't work out for you...

Anyway, I should have them sitting in my garage later next week... I will post some fittiment info and pictures on this thread when I test fit them in the TII. I might still have to replace them with the stockers if I get my car running sooner than expected. I dont want to run fixed back seats without at least a roll bar, so they will have to wait until that goes in too.

I'm 5-10 usually around 180, with a fairly skinny ***. I put a TII drivers seat in my 87 for a 1300 mile road trip and hated it. The side bolster on the TII seat has an extra bar inside the foam that the other stock seats don't have. They poked me in the hips the whole trip.
If you can find a set of stock seats, try those. Another option is to remove the cover and padding from the bolsters, then heat and bend the bar on each side out. That may give you enough room.

on my first set of t2 seats i peeled back the side of the cover and took some heavy duty bolt cutters and removed the the support then grounded it smooth with a dye grinder. big mistake very uncomfortable

Geez...
Are all you fat bastards the one pulling your a/c's and powersteering units, stripping the carpets and sound deadening material to reduce weight and make your car faster?
If so, you just might think additional weight saving opportunities
BTW, I my '90 vert and I could also stand to lose a little around the middle.

my *** gets wedged in tight enough that after about an hour of fway, my left leg starts hurting and going to sleep. wallet already in briefcase i bought to carry all my stuff. finally ditched the t2 seats and put in a set of gxl's... better comfort, more sliding around. (oh, 5'11"
235, 54" chest, 18 1/2 x 36 dress shirts, short legs!!) sort of a gorilla aspect....
dont even have $1.08-just the plastic debit card....
