Angry my 90tII has a crazy idle!!!!!!!

just got a 90 turbo with a new rebuilt motor and rebuilt turbo. The car runs great when its warm, but has problems idling. it won't stay on without putting your foot on the gas when I first start it, and dies out when I
come to a stop for a few minutes after I start driving.
I have searched the forums for a answer but have come up with nothing. Thing tried= The tps was set with a multimeter ( no change), adjusted the bac using the fsm( had no effect on the idle at all) the only thing I have not done is check for vac leaks (that going to happen friday)

If anyone can give any advice please do
and thanks in advance

Definitely pull that turbo inlet duct off and check it out for vacuum leaks. Been there, done that!

Make sure the TPS is good and set right. I know you said you set it but just check it for spikes and then set it again with it warm

Probably a vac leak.
If not, clean or replace the main grounds.
If they are not perfect, the ECU goes nuts.

a vacuum leak would cause a higher idle (usually).

On the upper intake manifold, if you stand on the passenger side and face the engine, there's a little piece that's got a screw adjuster, you can use that to adjust your idle up or down.

Did you happen to do the throttle body mod when you installed your new engine?
