Yes.. I thought turbos were just turbos and not designated as anything...Kind of like the 91 coupes. Anywayz it has this gold GTU imsa sticker on it. It is a turbo tranz though because it has a short 5th gear. At least I think it does? Anyone?

And did the GTU 87or 88s come with 4.3 gears?

I'm not sure about the 4.3 gears, but the GTU imsa sticker on the back of your car is on the later 2nd gens to commemerate all the wins the 2nd gen had in the manufacturer's racing champoinships. or something. I have the exact same sticker on mine and i have a GXL.

its because our cars own the GTU-IMSA championship...

My 88 T2 has a sticker on the back with the 80-86 and then 1987 sticker for GTU-IMSA.

Also, right next to my gold GTU sticker, I have a Car and Driver 10 best sticker for 1987 for the RX-7 Turbo. Does anyone else have this sticker? I think it was factory

 

my gtu sticker says 86 on it..the car is a 87or 88. I dont have that other sticker...So our cars were the top 10 in car and driver?

 

The car will have the previous year on the sticker. Since the 7's owned the GTU series, you see a lot of the stickers.
