I had post a thread with my car problem until some guys from the club started to threadjack. I will be doing some elimination solution or solving the problem by elimination procedure. I will order a new stage 3 clutch and used tranny, if the problems still goes on, i will fix the driveshaft.

edit: wait wait, is this the thread that was started where you gas pedal was vibrating and then after a page or so you stopped responding to people's questions?

I was reading the fsm to ping point the problem and it says it could be the clutch

 

why don't you start with what you have done, and what the problem is???

ok, On saturday, I was at the street racing scene. I was following a groups of car, i think that i hit something with the bottom of my car. As i was heading home my 7 felt wierd, At first i though it was just me. Then sunday i went to my bestfriend girlfriend house, on the way up there i downshifted to 2nd the rpms fall in the high area, i then heard a weird noise, but i was like cool. then i notice when the it touch high the rpms the noise became louder, so i let it rest for a while. We head out to downtown and close to the exit i see my speedmeter drop to 0, i turn the sound system off and i hear my speedmeter cable hitting my car's bottom. I got out of the highway and i was two light away from the parking. in one of the light i had to stop and my car's Rpms drop from 1500 to 1000 this is idling. i this to take of normal and it shuts on me, i had a hard time thing to turn it on then usual, i manage to turn it on, as i'm trying to take off i feel a hard vibration coming from the clutch pedal and slighty on the gas pedal and a vibration coming from between the engine and the tranny. so i park it. AFter that i manage to get it start and tryed to take to my friend's house but it die on me and since then i have put oil in the tranny, fix the slave cylinder, change oil. I still need to check my tranny, clutch. pressure plate and driveshaft.

 

wow. Now I remember why I had trouble with this the first time.

OK - You probably have a number of problems being that some of the thigns you're talking aoubt really can't be caused by one problem.

If the car was idling high and having trouble starting...chances are that problem is seperate from the ones causing the vibration in the pedals, the vibration in the drivetrain and so on.

I would first just get under the car and start looking for obvious things - you're speedo cable came out of the tranny you said right? Well chances are that there are others parts under the car that are loose like the speedo cable was.

But Im sorry I just love this part....even though my car is making funny noises, I drive down the highway with the sound system cranked until....

 

it could be the u-joints on the driveshaft going out. that could cause the vibration that backed your speedo cable out of your tranny. it did it to me. just giving suggestions to check. good luck. and when you have vibrations and problems with your car.... always drive with the stereo off so you can listen and feel for a change in them.

I know but i had a female in the car. I try to started my car. it took forever but i got to hear a little banging from the tranny area. and my shifter kept bouncing side ways and making a awful noise. if i leave her idling it tries to die.

 

well I heard something different i heard the reason u fucked up ur car was by letting this female drive ur car first she doesnt know how do and second why would u do that?? if all this is true?

 

Kevin, even if lilian drove my car. my car had no problems until after fiebre. And second she is my best friend's girlfriend and she ask me to help her learn to drive 5spd cuz pedro has no patience. And if i get a girlfriend i will teach her to drive 5sp with the 7's, and i will not matter. I can always fix the 7, is just that i can not figure out the problem. And she can drive the 7 better then you can drive your 7. Now, i understand why jose want to kill you for hitting his integra. Learn to keep your distant when you drive. I have performance brakes and not stock as yours.

 

LOL, OK so you got weird vibrations coming form the tranny?? the shifter vibrates and so does the pedal correct?? are you SURE you ran something over? did she feather the clutch a little to much? maybe something happened to the flywheel and its warped or the clutch?

 

I do not know but my mechanic will be coming to check it out or i will take it to my friend's friend to check it out.

Well, if you're taking your car to a mechanic, why are you posting here?

The problem is definetly in the tranny/clutch/flywheel/driveshaft region......why don't you get underthe car and see if you can notice anything loose or on the verge of falling off/apart instead of telling us your life story surrounding instructing you friend's girl how to drive 5spd??

 

Well, I was not going to take it to a mechanic at first, second i have being already under my car and did not notice anything loose or on the verge of falling. And last part, I never brought out the topic of me instructing my friend's girl until someone else mention it to try to be funny. All i said was that i was with a female on the car when it happen

id say the clutch is gone or the flywheel...
