My 7 is PRODUCING oil

As the title states, I change my oil habitually at 3000 miles, but every time I check the oil level rises. It isnt really noticeable on the dipstick until I hit close to oil change time and the oil is up the stick way higher than it was after my previous oil change. On this block Ive done maybe three or four oil changes and the first one I did I overlooked it as maybe some oil was lingering, because it was 4.5qts in and 7qts drained. The second and third change was 4.5qts in and 5.5/5qts drained (no milky residue, water, or chunks).
I dont know whats going on, but the oil is higher on the dipstick again and its at 2500miles on this oil. The oil is in great condition (for 2500mi it has normal coloration). I shouldnt complain being that it is a running/driving rx7, a car which is mostly known for breaking down and eating oil, but it does get me concerned.

1986 gxl: omp/air pump/sub zero delete (my oil pressure gauge doesn't work so Im blind on that)

Does anyone know whats going on or why this is happening?

If you're running rich, fuel mixes into your oil. It thins it out, and you end up looking like you have more oil. Really you end up with 4.5 qts of oil and 1 qt of fuel mixed into it.
