So I bought this 90 Gtu almost a year ago. Got a good deal on it and it was in pretty good shape except for the paint.. I got it non running, it 0 compression in the front rotor. I took the whole thing apart over the winter and rebuilt my first 13 b. Install the motor into the car and she siezed up on me. My Oil pump wasnt doing its job. Being that I had to take it apart I told my self im going to send it out to get ported while its out of the car for the second time. For the meantime I purchased a used motor out of a running 90 s5. Installed the bad boy in. She started , but I had to feather the pedal to keep it going. On the second attempt the son of a itch caught fire. Burnt a few wires here and there, such as the o2 sensor and the injector clips. I found it was the o rings to the injector that were bad that caused it to catch fire. Now im back at square one. Just needed to vent on what had happen in the last few days

 

Haha your story sounds almost like mine. I'm sure if I ever get that car running I'll kill myself in the process. My RX-7 is worse than a frustrated wife, she'll never let me be happy.
