My 1st RX7 that I bought 2 days ago, It's not runnig well, can someone please help me
undefinedHello everyone, I just bought a 1987 Mazda RX-7 Turbo II, I've always wanted a rotary but they are so0o0o0o0o00o hard to find, the car has 87k miles I bought it off a guy that knows nothing about rotaries, it isn't running well, I think it's running only on one rotor, sometimes it starts sometimes it doesn't, I have no ieda what it would be, I dont' think it's an apex seal car has only 87k miles, my guess it's probably clogged injectors, but I dont' know ho to take apart the intake manifold or is it something else? DOES ANYBODY HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS PLEASE, I REALLY NEED HELP ON THIS ONE!!!

Read the FAQ.
Read the Archive.
Use the Search button.
Download the FSM's.
Do a compression test.
87k miles is enough to have a bad motor, especially on a Turbo II.
Hope you didn't pay too much.

motor could be bad, or the car floods. most likely it's flooding half the time you start it since it's an S4. try starting the car with the gas pedal pressed all the way down. or u can make a kill switch for it and switch it off everytime the car floods then as soon as the car starts, click the switch back on so that the car can stay on.
