My 13B Shorblock in the back of a honda civic

Just curious but I don't have a truck and I am transporting my engine out of town to be assembled and stuff. I was curious is an assembled 13B shortblock would fit in the trunk or back seat of a 96 honda civic?

Put a good piece of plywood to spread the load and towels if you care.

If it's in your back seat you might want to strap it down or something, it'd suck to have it come through your face if you were in a wreck.

I say back seat is a no no if you care about walking.....or even living for that matter.
The block alone weighs about 225 pounds. 225lbs x ( 60 mph to 0 in .5 seconds = +/- 15 G's) = what...? 6000 pounds of pressure on impact?

I dont think you want that inside your car. I say use the trunk.
