MSD and Timing ?
I installed MSD a wile ago and realized that I blew out the coil but still hooked the MSD up and was firing on its own without the correct signal. Basically I automatically triggered the box and drove the car. I did this for like three days. No sings of damage I think but can someone tell me the possible problems this can or could have lead to. I would imagine that it fired my rotors the first chance it got without any signal. Like advancing the timing. If someone knows the absolute ansewer please tell. I really dont want to hear.. That wasnt good c...ya.

You have nothing to worry about. The MSD will not "automatically" trigger - it MUST have a ground applied to it's white wire to fire, along with a switched 12V applied to it's red wire. If the MSD was being triggered, it would have to have been from the wire that was connected originally to the coil "-" from the ignitor assembly (and is now connected instead from the ignitor assembly to the MSD white wire). And this signal comes directly from the ECU. The only problem a failed coil will cause with an MSD ignition is no spark. If there is a spark, weak or otherwise, it will be at the right time. Relax! c...ya.
