MSD RPM Module?

AHHHHHHH lol. Ok so i got my msd 6al in an i put a 4000 for my break in. I drove it today an tryed to go past 4. I was thinking i got ripped off. Went home called msd an the guy told me that alot of the guys who call about rx7's have this same problem. He told me that its trial an error on getting theright rpm chip. Is this true. Should i try going with a lower number like a 3600 an see what happens i would think it wouldnt be that far off. I have noticed something like that when i put my tach in its about 250 300 off at higher rpm.

you have a single 6AL box?
You will not get full ignition cut with a single box

^ One box will not stop you. You need 3 boxes due to the way the trailing is setup
