It's easy. Do a search. There's a writup on how to install a Crane Cams HI-6 on FC3S.org, they install exactly the same, hell the wires are the same colours even.

It takes $100 from a retail outlet (IF you choose the same system I did). Installation is dead simple. The leading coils are all that matters and it’s the CD feature that makes the most noticeable difference. How soon are you buying? Rumor has it that Mazdasport Magazine is going to run a feature on ignitions very shortly. If you read their article, you be informed enough to make a wise decision based on facts.

One piece of advice..

Mount the MSD box up in front of the rad under the plastic..

Have to make some brackets, but it aint hard...

Reason being.. if you put it in the engine bay, it can get WAY TOO HOT!!!

I spent 3 hours making brackets to mount my MSD behind the headlight and it looked SWEET... after driving it for five minutes, I put my hand on the box and jumped back.. G-Dam it was hot.. Now its hidden up under the C/F rad shroud, but it stays nice and cool!

unplug trailing coil and run the car
then unplug the leading and run the car
