Please help me...Need to get mt aux ports and VDI working on my S5...

I have searched many times only to find threads with people saying tis has been covered so many times but dont give a link. Can someone please give me a link to a write up on how to get mmy aux ports and vdi to activate with my air pump. Its an s5 motor. 91 to be exact.
Thank you and maybe you can put something in the faq about aux and vdi activation on a s5.

i was just looking up this very thing last night. I have the benchbook for my s5, I reccommend you get one too. I doubt you'll find a better explaination here.

Also, the Haynes manuel is pretty good as well, and has s5 specific section on the aux ports and VDI.

Get a book and start reading man, good luck.

I have the book got it with the car from previous owner but didn't look at it yet. But i thought that running the aux /vdi off the airpump is somewhat of a ghetto rig becouse i have an exhaust so it wont work the way it did stock. wont the book only show me how do get it working the stock way? Someone said you can get it working off the air pump with $15 in parts or something.

S5 did use the air pump for vdi and 5th and 6th port activation.

pdf manual can be found in faq, and a mirror can also be found here. www.mirror.wreckedyouth.com/man

It worked fine stock, so if yours is not working, that suggests you have removed things. re-install the removed parts and the aux ports and VDI will work again.

If your air pump and/or ACV is removed, you can build an electric pump setup.
