MSD-DIS 4 Plus

Ok basically my ignition stopped working after reading the shop manual i determined it was something to do with my trailing side.

I figured instead of going factory i would upgrade i knew that usually people use MSD 6a boxes on leading and to do the whole system people use 3 boxes. so what i figured is buy one dis-4 box which accepts up to 4 triggers to run the whole system. My question is has anyone done this and did they remove the igniter from the system or just tap in where the igniter fires the coils.

My concern is if my factory igniter is the reason it messed up will my msd still work if i tap in from the wires the igniter sends to the coils.

No, you can't do that.
Do a search for "DIS4" or "DIS-4" for more details.
